SLC and Coeur D'Alene (Aug 8 - Aug 22)

Our last trip of the summer!

First, our family flew out to Salt Lake City, UT to visit our dear friends, the Nicols.

Todd and Loran work together and they had some things to work on while Amy and I played with the kids. We spent a lot of time at Amy's parents' pool. The kids enjoyed the fact that it had BOTH a diving board AND a slide. Very fun!

After a few days in Utah, we got in our cars and drove 10 hours up to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. It was beautiful. We stayed in a gorgeous home with the Nicols and the Bastians (our other dear friends that also work with Todd). We had a blast boating, swimming, wakeboarding, canoeing, fishing, roasting marshmallows and just hanging out with good friends.

Could we have done any MORE (actually we did do more, but this post already has way too many pics)? Seriously, one of the most fun and relaxing vacations ever! We had a wonderful time taking the kids to a different part of the country. The mountains were beautiful, not something we see much of in Maryland.

What a FUN summer we were blessed to have!

Where The Wilds Things Are said...

FUN! I grew up right by Amy's parents house (it use to be her grandparents house). I love the pee picture...the world is our toilet too...well my boys toilet.
