Dear Friends (June 22nd- 27th)

The day after we got back from the lake, our dear friends came to town. They used to live right behind us, but now live in NC. Maria and her four kids came to play for a whole week. My kids were in HEAVEN - we hardly went anywhere because the kids were so happy and content to just play with each other.

The only downfall was the very first night they were here, our two guinea pigs were sort of fighting and Alexis reached her hand in to separate them and ended up with a pretty big BITE on her hand. YIKES! She went to the ER and got it cleaned out and then they put her on an antibiotic (since it was an animal bite) to prevent any infection. Scary! Of course the next morning, they all wanted to get the piggies out again - "NO WAY" was my response!
