NC/SC (July 21st - July 31st)

Well, we had been home for more than a week so that meant it was time to TRAVEL again! This time, Todd couldn't go, so we took our beloved friend and babysitter, Esther, along.

The girls had gone down a few days earlier with my mom and Esther and I drove down with the boys to meet them. For the first week, we were at my mom's in Chocowinity, NC.

We went to this cool museum in the tiny town of Aurora, NC. They have a huge sand pile - it is from the bottom of the ocean and the local phosphate plant dumps it there - and the kids dig through it for shark's teeth. The kids enjoyed searching and even found a few.

We also took the ferry back to my mom's house - we just drove on and away we went. That is how most of the workers at the plant get there.

After visiting with my mom, we were off to Myrtle Beach with Todd's parents. We had a wonderful time playing at the beach and pool. We missed having Todd there, but we still had a fun and relaxing time.
