Sunday Afternoon Tradition

We have a Sunday afternoon tradition that you would only know about if you have come to eat at our home for lunch on a Sunday.

It started a little over a year ago when my youngest son was gifted this little ball popper. Our popper came with 10 balls - one Sunday one of the kids picked up a ball and threw it at Todd and yelled "ball fight" This started an all out war. We all hid, and scrambled for the balls and pelted one another as hard as we could. Occasionally there was a casualty because the balls were a little hard from close range.

Well, this past Christmas, Santa brought Todd a "Bag of 100 balls" (from Target) these are the very light and airy balls - the kind of balls you usually see in ball pits. So, every Sunday we have an all out "ball fight." It is a great way to have fun with each other, blow off steam on a Sunday afternoon, and laugh and giggle (quick clean-up tip-we have a contest to see who can put the most balls back in the bag).
