Stop 3 - Charlotte, NC

When we moved into our home 4 years ago, a family moved in to the next cul-de-sac about a month later. Our backyards met up, our kids were the same age and we were fast friends. As a matter of fact, such good friends that when we put in our fences, we agreed to put a gate in between the yards so that the kids could run freely back and forth without having to go on the sidewalk near the street. Their family is a carbon copy of ours...age and gender of all the children (the are expecting #4 right now and it is a boy, to play with Noah, of course). When we get together, everyone has a playmate. Sadly, they moved to NC a few years ago, and we miss them, but we always make it part of our NC trip to go and see them. The kids were SO excited to play with their old friends and we all had a wonderful time.

The kids played, Maria and I talked, Todd and Billy laughed (and cringed) while watching "Most Outrageous Stunts" on Spike TV and everyone went to the pool. It was a great ending to our trip!
