Halloween

Seeing as how Thanksgiving is in 2 days, I thought I ought to post our Halloween pictures.

We started by eating "mummy dogs":

Then we took our annual pictures on the front porch with our neighbors:

The girls were very thrifty this year - Afton came up with her costume using dress-ups and Leah recycled one of Afton's costumes from a few years ago.

We trick or treated around the neighborhood.

There is a cool program at one of our local department stores - Boscov's - for diabetic children. The child can trick or treat and then take all of his/her candy to the store and donate it. The store sends the candy to US Troops and gives the child a $10 gift card to use in the store. We signed Nicholas up for the program and he was able to donate his candy and bought some more Lego sets. He was so excited! YAY for Boscov's!!
