Pretty Princesses say Thank you!

I know, I know, I have been a bit neglectful in posting. Things have been crazy and Todd was out of town last week. I usually post in the evenings, but I was so tired at the end of each day, that I just vegged out and tried to get prepared for the next day. So, enough of the excuses...

A few weekends ago we went to Virginia. We visited with Todd's parents and their English Mastiffs (Gracie and Lily). Gracie gave birth a week prior to 12 puppies. Four of the puppies made it and the girls had a GREAT time helping her take care of them. Thanks Gracie (and Mimi and PopPop)!




The highlight of the weekend, was Nana took one of her sisters, her daughters and her granddaughters to Princesses on Ice. We had a great time. Thanks Nana!

The funniest thing was to watch Leah AFTER the show "ice skating" her way from here to there. We had a great time.


After the show, we went to see Ashley's home in Lexington. We went to the coolest nature center/play space called Boxerwood Gardens. It was complete with a mud kitchen, giant nest, creek with shells to dig for, a dinosaur boneyard, hobbit house, and the list goes on and on. This place was so cool and so fun. I wanted to move to Lexington just to take my kids there every week! When you go in, there was a list of rules which included "make noise, move things around, get dirty, and HAVE FUN!" And we did have FUN! Thanks Ashley!
