She reads lots and lots of books.

She took the girls to get pedicures (yes, the girls picked GREEN... and Nana let them)

She got new pj's for Afton and earrings for Leah

She and I experimented with wheat recipes...I won't post the recipes because I think we can find some yummier ones, but the baking and sampling were fun!

She always has items for a spur of the moment craft or tea party in her bag...she is our own little Mary Poppins.

She spent numerous hours at school with the girls, eating lunch, helping in their classes and observing all the things they are working on at school right now. My mom is a teacher/reading specialist by profession and a true educator by heart - she loves teaching and seeing kids learn. She was impressed with the technology that was in both the girls' classrooms. I will post the cute classroom pics my mom took when she sends them to me (hint, hint mom).
We had a wonderful visit...we love you, Nana!!

Oh, I had a wonderful time! Nick looking for his missing dinosaur, Afton writing her hiaku poems, Leah excited about her guppies and Noah carrying that pink car everywhere he goes. Christine cooking her heart out while Todd sings the night away. The Benners are a great bunch. I miss you guys already. Love ya, Mom
What a blessing your mom is!!
